This reminds me of the point in the original ElfQuest story where little Ember smugly takes unmerited credit for persuading Rayek to save her father... and a second later, Rayek shoves a handful of snow down the back of her neck, leaving the mite squealing and dancing around while clawing at the neck of her snowsuit.  Utterly hilarious!
